About this place
A multi-story secondhand market where film cameras, Republican-era coins, enamelware from the 1980s and old books are piled together in no particular order.
Drifter says
"Walk in from the street entrance thinking you're on the ground floor — then follow the staircase around a corner and keep going down. Three more floors. The bottom level exits back onto flat street level, which makes no sense until you remember this is Chongqing. Haggling is mandatory; the deeper into the corners you go, the better the finds. There's a secondhand bookshop inside — mostly Chinese titles, so unless you're genuinely hunting for books, the novelty fades fast. Note that browsing the bookshop comes with an unwritten expectation to buy at least twenty yuan worth. Budget two hours and take it slowly."
