"Use this as your lung-cleansing, nerve-resetting destination in Chongqing. Rent a bike and ride the well-paved mountain circuit, or come in winter to find the wintersweet valleys in full fragrant bloom. Almost no tourist crowds — just local families with frisbees and picnic blankets on the grass. Skip the crowded south entrance and take the northern trails. When you move through the old pines and catch the surrounding tech park towers through the gaps in the leaves, two completely different timescales compress into the same frame — that kind of folding only happens in Chongqing."
