"Free entry. No direct metro — take a taxi from the city center, about 40 to 50 minutes and 60 to 80 RMB. Cherry blossoms are strictly mid to late March only; arrive outside that window and there are no flowers. The rest of the year it's a genuine escape from urban heat with well-maintained forest cycling roads. The camping ground is properly equipped — bring your own tent and pay roughly 50 to 100 RMB for a pitch."
