Also known as the aerial corridor, this cable car has been crossing 1,166 meters of the Yangtze River since 1987 — four and a half minutes between the commercial density of Yuzhong Peninsula on one side and the quieter character of Nan'an District on the other.

"Book tickets in advance and travel off-peak; on busy days the queue runs to hours. The view through the slightly scratched old windows is irreplaceable — you're not looking down at the city from above, you're suspended in the middle of it, with the river and both banks moving slowly past. That's a perspective no observation deck can replicate."
