"Take Metro Ring Line to Yudaishan Station, then walk downhill about 15 to 20 minutes to the riverbank. Besides the bridge piers, you'll find old river ferry relics and local grandpas fishing at the water's edge. Hard rule: dry season only, October to April. Summer flood season the banks submerge completely and the current is extremely dangerous. Do not approach the water between June and August."
