"Too far for public transit — take a taxi or drive (about 1 hour from the city center). Hot spring entry is roughly 100 to 150 RMB. The hardcore version is the combined hot spring and Wentang Gorge boat ticket: deep in the canyon, wild macaques genuinely swing through bamboo forests on the clifftops above you. Do not feed or provoke them — they are wild animals. Worth every minute of the drive."
