A stretch of historic narrow-gauge railway preserved inside the Sichuan International Studies University campus, now incorporated into the official Old Railway Shancheng Walkway — tracks, wooden sleepers and tunnels all intact, with a safe walking path laid between the rails.

"When the city starts feeling relentless, this is the kind of place you need. The whole thing is swallowed in subtropical greenery and almost completely silent. Take Metro Line 1 to Lieshimu Station, Exit 2, walk into the campus. Completely open to the public, no permit needed. The trail connects naturally toward Geleshan Forest Park if you want to keep going."
