About this place
One of the few neighborhoods in Yuzhong that hasn't been touched by commercial development, where moss-covered stone walls and narrow alleys preserve the urban texture of the 1990s.

"There's an old Chongqing saying: 'Qixinggang is haunted.' In the late Ming dynasty this was a mass burial ground; in the Republican era a Buddhist monk built the Bodhi Vajra Pagoda here to suppress the restless dead — and the pagoda still stands. Wander without a plan, no navigation needed. Ordinary on the surface but full of corners with stories behind them. Every crumbling wall is a piece of Chongqing's real character, and that character is slowly disappearing."
