"Ten minutes up the main path brings you to the Red Star Pavilion — one of the highest points in Yuzhong, with both rivers visible in a single frame. It's all uphill; in summer heat this is a genuine test of endurance, so early morning or evening is the smarter call. Almost no tourists make it up here. Find a teahouse with gaiwan tea, sit down, and listen to the regulars talk in rapid Chongqing dialect. You won't understand a word, and that's exactly the point."
