Two massive decommissioned cooling towers from the old Chongqing power plant, permanently preserved as industrial heritage and dominating the Huangjueping skyline — the visual anchor of the entire peninsula.

"You'll see them from the Graffiti Street without trying. For the best industrial shot walk down into the old Railway Village area toward the riverfront — the towers rise directly above the abandoned cargo tracks and old brick buildings. Safe and open during the day, ground is uneven so wear proper shoes. These fit naturally into the Huangjueping half-day route: campus → graffiti street → railway village → Brother Jun's bookstore → trotter soup."
