A densely forested mountain park at the western tip of Yuzhong, historically the strategic chokepoint controlling access to the entire peninsula, with ancient stone carvings and a monorail scenic line running through the valley.

"March to April cherry blossom season is when the park is at its best. The ideal window is 7:30 to 9am — soft light, thin crowds; 3 to 5:30pm brings backlit atmosphere. Free entry year-round. The monorail-through-green-valley shot is one of Chongqing's most photogenic moments and it's right here. Push deep into the forest to find the ancient stone carvings — virtually no tourists ever notice them."
