About this place

A Buddhist temple with over a thousand years of history, existing in improbable proximity to the glass towers of Yuzhong's commercial district. The current structures date primarily from the Qing dynasty.

Drifter says

"Free vegetarian meals are served around 11am to noon — follow the local worshippers and you'll find it. Every one of the 500 Arhat statues in the main hall has a distinct expression and posture; the legend says one of them resembles you, and finding it is worth the slow walk through. Looking outward from the main hall, glass tower reflections caught in the incense smoke produce one of the most surreal images this city has to offer. A local note: this temple runs on the commercial side — beyond the entrance ticket, approach any additional spending inside with your own judgment."
